When driving out after our shoot was over, I looked over my shoulder and looked out onto the most gorgeous sun rays I had ever seen, tickling the rows of plowed ground next to my car, so naturally I jump out of my car, waved their car down and we ran into the field to catch these incredible sun rays.

When I ask clients to really think hard on where they want to do their engagement photos, Lauryn took it to heart, and she hit a bullseye!  Lauryn thought long and hard about places that were important to them, significant to them and ultimately actually went and scouted her own locations at the time of day she knew their shoot would be, how RAD is that?! I thought it was so cool that she chose a spot that was comfortable for her fiancé and right up his alley. This is the spot where her fiancé goes hunting with their dog! I love that he got to show us around and tell me about the area itself. Check out the amazing light chasing we did together.
