“Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold..” That’s a song I used to sing in girl scouts and I have always loved the idea of making new friends…. When my dear friend Kelly asked if she could throw me a baby shower I was truly honored and did NOT want her going over the top or “doing too much” for fear of putting her out or that it would be a hassle… little did I know…. Kelly teamed up with some of my other closest friends and brought to life a shower I will never forget! To see ladies from EVERY walk of my life all in one room nearly brought me to tears! Let me break it down for you:

Friends from my time working at Alaska Airlines, old friends who go back to the 6th grade with bad hair cuts and lots of sleep overs, friends I met though E, friends from my past relationships, friends who happen to be family as well, both my blood and through marriage, newer friends I met through social media and friends throughout the photography world and friends through my last job at a non-profit. WOW… every walk of life I feel like was represented in my own home that night and when I came in to see them all there, with an ASTOUNDING amount of food and decor … all I could do is think about friendship and how each one has contributed to my life in great ways an will continue to do so in this little baby girls life as well! Take a look and be as amazed as I was.
