For a few months now I have been pinned some “abstract” pieces of artwork to my pin boards. Mainly a secret board because I was actually going to attempt to do these on my own and make something for our new home! Well, I broke out the paints, bought some special paper… and well, let’s just say when E came home from work he looked at my “Doodle page” and said “You are not going to frame that one right?” HAH! I died laughing and told him no, that I was just experimenting and proceeded to show him a few of the others I worked on… well about 5 weeks later and the painting supplies sit in my garage collecting dust…. BUT much to my surprise, my dear friends at The Classroom Collective in Tacoma actually created a class called “Statement Art” and boy are they not kidding! This class is RAD! You walk away with such a fun memory AND a 50″x 56″ piece of statement art that YOU created for your home!
