I am consistently impressed by the resiliency and patience my couples have had during 2020. Allie and Pat were a shining example of this! Despite having to change their original plans, their MV Skansonia micro wedding was an absolute hit! The sun was shining without a cloud in the sky, the temperature was perfect, and they were surrounded by those that they loved most.
First Look
We went to three locations throughout the day. Their first look was at The Rose Garden in the Woodland Park Zoo. Shooting with the scent of roses in the air seemed like a scene from a movie: it was so romantic!! Aside from the perfect scenery, working with Allie and Pat was effortless. Their authentic connection and laid back personalities were so refreshing to be around! I mean just look at how cute they are together!!!
The MV Skansonia
Our next stop was The MV Skansonia and we took portraits before the guests arrived. The contrast of colors between Pat’s navy suit and the white and aqua walls turned out so well! BUT, my personal favorites were with their sweet pup who was wearing a floral collar! SO cute!
The Reception at Elliot’s
Their MV Skansonia micro wedding was the perfect, intimate summer ceremony. Once the ceremony was finished, we all drove to the reception at Elliot’s Oyster House. This was an extra special location choice as it was their uncle’s restaurant – talk about having an amazing hookup!! After hours of amazing seafood and cocktails, the evening ended with a dreamy sunset over the water. We could not have wished for a better ending to the perfect outdoor wedding day!
