First things first, I realize my “hair flipping” skills may not be up to par with this models… don’t worry I laughed to when I saw the photos…thats the exact reason I decided to still post them!  Second, I do realize that her jacket is pink and mine is neon yellow! Indeed I have a pink blazer, but I wear that blazer quite a bit and the purpose of “Closet Shopping” is to find things in your wardrobe that you own already and don’t wear that often! At some point, you thought the item was cute so you bought it… now wear it!
I originally bought this jacket at Target, in the section where they highlight different upcoming designers with cute “fashion forward” clothing for a decent price.. (HINT: they ALWAYS go on sale so wait it out 😉 ) I bought it two years ago I think and I actually know quite a few gals who bought it and I am yet to see them in it either! So hopefully this will inspire you to whip it out. It was $13.99 when I purchased it on sale. The stripped skirt I actually picked up on a trip to Ross for $3.99 and that was the regular price! I was shocked and knew I had to have it since it included the little belt as well! I will be honest; I don’t shop at Ross a ton as I feel like it’s kind of a waste of money and here is why… (I am more of a Marshalls, TJ Max, The Rack and Target shopper but occasionally you can find a gem there!)

What I have seen with my items that I purchase at Ross is 1. they pill, which I HATE and 2. the seams come out and they just don’t last more than one or two washes… So I try to go other places.. Just my two cents..

Below you will see the cute detail zipper on the jacket which does indeed “zip off” but really, it kind of reminds me of those zip off pants so I don’t wear it that way. Lastly, my shoes are some of my favs in my closet! They are a soft microfiber and I got them for $29.99 at Marshalls and they are GUESS. Nine West actually makes a pair too and they are both super comfortable (comfy as far as heels go…) Well, that’s it! I am off to a client consult now… felling quite cute 🙂 Hope they like neon!
