I mentioned on my Instagram the other day about putting together a special Easter Basket for Hastings since it is her first one! So here is what I came up with:

1.) My parents did this as a tradition for me when I was young and next year we will hopefully let Hasty go on a “hunt” for the basket from the Easter Bunny just like I did as a kid!

2.) I wanted there to be something meaningful in it so I decided this year to go with this little Dolly and it is from “Bunnies by the Bay”. Her name is “Elsie” and its called “Pretty Girls is Pretty on the Inside – What makes a girl pretty on the inside…. Listening, sharing, patience, politeness and caring” My heart welled up thinking that its our job as Hasty’s parents to teach her these things and what a cute way to do it! (I’ll be buying the coordinating book for the next Holiday 😉 )

3.) Had to include her adorable new easter outfit! A Romper from Old Navy and a new Headband from Barna & Co!

4.) NEXT year I will include a silly white “Easter Hat” which only seems  fitting because I have a ton photos from each easter that my mom did this to me!! HAHA!

5.) A hand written note that will go into her baby book telling her the special story of what Easter really is! Celebrating that our Lord and Savior is no longer in the grave and He is Risen and alive in our Hearts!
